Het standaard stuur van een scooter heeft geen styling omdat er vrijwel altijd stuurkappen omheen zitten. Het is mogelijk een ander stuur (race) te plaatsen, hierbij is geen mogelijkheid om kappen op te bevestigen. Racesturen zijn in verschillende modellen en kleuren leverbaar. Meestal is er een zogeheten clamp nodig om het stuur te monteren.
